Inspiration Field Trips

An inspiration field trip is always a delicious way to break up one's week and add a little whimsical layer.

Since the beginning of our relationship John and I have loved wandering through antique stores, wineries, small towns seeking goods + ideas. That said, we find estate sales or auctions to be the best options if you're a serious treasure hunter.

Over the years we've found many lovely goodies, from architectural elements, sinks, doors etc. that we've built homes around to vintage clothing and even John's wedding ring that we spied at an antique store in Chicago when we were engaged. 

FULL DISCLOSURE: Our videos are raw and real, so if you are easily offended, please understand that there are jokes (maybe in bad taste, but jokes nonetheless) so, either do not watch this or please excuse the few crude moments.We simply cannot go on field trips without incessant banter, some of which may get a little raw/profane.

Babcock Winery in Santa Rita Hills

Last week John and I took a little date trip to the delightful Babcock Winery which is located in the Santa Rita Hills. Charming, soulful and deliciously wander-able, this is one of our absolute favorite wineries. With a glass of scrumptious wine in hand John and I strolled the eye-candy filled environment in search of treasures, which are plentiful.
